Our Brass Quintet formed in 2010, a group consisting of professionally-trained musicians who originally met while training at the Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Individually, our players have performed with some of London’s top ensembles, including the London Philharmonic, London Symphony, Philharmonia and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras in venues as diverse as The Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury Festival. The group provides entertainment suitable for any occasion and require no amplification, playing a very broad range of styles from jazz to classical. With unique and purposely written arrangements, they offer something slightly different from the usual jazz trio or string quartet. Highlights have included playing for Lord Coe and Olympic athletes in collaboration with Eurostar, the unveiling of Chopin’s statue in the presence of HRH The Duke of Gloucester at the Royal Festival Hall and providing matchday entertainment at Saracens RFC for Premiership and Heineken Cup matches.
